Directions

How to play

Take any number of stones from one pile each turn. Click the stones you want to remove, then choose Take stones. You must take at least one stone. Clicking a different pile starts a new selection. Under Last stone, choose whether taking the last stone wins or loses. Changing the rule immediately begins a new game.

Number of stones

Choose 2–5 piles; changing the pile count immediately begins a new game. Enter 1–30 stones per pile. Or click Randomize stones to immediately begin a new game with 1–15 stones per pile and at most 40 stones total. Changes to stone counts apply when you finish editing a field. Use New game to restart with the current settings.

Playing with the computer

Under Play with, choose Computer, then choose whether the computer plays First or Second. Changing the opponent or starting order begins a new game immediately. Choose Another person for two-player play.
