Today we will be working on Section 4.2: Polynomials. We will be defining polynomial functions, learning the vocabulary associated with them, and learn what they look like graphically.  We will also look at how to use the roots of a polynomial to help determine the equation for the function.

Homework

• Do the reading questions 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 in section 4.2 for Thursday
• Do the exercises 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 14, 16, 17, 22  in section 4.2 for Friday
