The Study of Functions: January 11, 2008
Today we will look at Section 1.2: Graphical Representations of
Functions. We will see how functions are described graphically and do
some interesting examples with a CBL. We will also look take a
quick look at Section 1.3: Calculator Graphics. We will spend
the class time learning how to use some of the basic (and maybe not so
basic) functions on our graphing calculators.
Homework
- Do exercises 1, 4, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14 in section 1.2.
- Do exercises 2, 3, 7, 9 in section 1.3.
